Safari meats and SA shop specializes in non-organic New Zealand meat the South African way. We sell great tasting South African meat and products, that all South Africans know and love, to the entire South island of New Zealand. By providing these great products we believe that we are bringing “home” a little closer and satisfying an ever growing need of South Africans living abroad because let’s face it, nothing tastes better than a South African braai (barbeque)!

 

After numerous burglaries, Safari Meats & Shop moved from 5 Buckleys Road, Linwood to 100 Carmen Road, Hornby, at the beginning of October 2011. The initial agreement was to rent the main building, but it fell through and we didn't see our way to sign a contract for 2 years for the rent of the "portacom". The result of this was that we have had to leave the premises immediately.

The good news is that you will not have to go without your biltong, boerewors and other SA products this Christmas. The processing section has been temporarily moved to another registered "food premises" until we re-open at new premises at the end of January 2012. (Please note that the new address will be announced later on). In the meantime you can email or phone your order through to us. The orders will be couriered to you. Free delivery on orders of $100.00 or more in Christchurch.

Thank you for your loyal support over the past 3 years. Our clients have became our friends and new family .... each of you have helped build something that we can be proud of today. The next two months will not be easy, but like Christchurch, and with your support we will rise again. Be assured that our goal will continue to be to deliver the best possible service and products of high quality.

Since we may not see you face to face again before Christmas, we would like to wish each and every one of you a wonderful and blessed Christmas and a prosperous New Year! We are looking forward to 2012 with great excitement and have wonderful ideas for the "new" Safari Meats & SA Shop!

Na talle inbrake het Safari Meats & SA Shop begin Oktober 2011 van 5 Buckleys Road, Linwood na 100 Carmen Road, Hornby, verskuif. Die aanvanklike ooreenkoms was om die hoofgebou te huur, maar dit het deur die mat geval en ons het nie ons weg oopgesien om 'n kontrak vir 2 jaar vir die "portacom" te teken nie. Die gevolg van hierdie besluit was dat ons die perseel onmiddelik moes verlaat.

Die goeie nuus is egter dat julle nie sonder biltong, boerewors en die ander SA produkte hoef te wees hierdie Kersfees nie. Die verwerkingsgedeelte is tydelik na 'n ander geregistreerde "food premisses" verskuif totdat ons einde Januarie 2012 by die nuwe perseel (die adres sal later bekend gemaak word), sal heropen. Intussen kan julle deur middel van 'n email of telefonies julle bestellings plaas en sal dit dan na julle gekoerier word. Gratis aflewering vir bestellings van $100.00 en meer in Christchurch.

Baie dankie vir die getroue ondersteuning die afgelope 3 jaar. Ons kliente het ons vriende en nuwe familie geword …. elkeen van julle het gehelp bou aan wat vandag ons trots is. Die volgende 2 maande gaan nie maklik wees nie, maar saam sal ons die wa deur die drif trek. Wees verseker daarvan dit dit ons strewe bly om die beste diens moontlik en produkte van hoe gehalte te lewer.

Aangesien ons mekaar moontlik nie weer voor Kersfees van aangesig tot aangesig sal sien nie, wil ons net hiermee aan elkeen van julle 'n wonderlike geseende Kersfees en 'n baie voorspoedige Nuwe Jaar toewens!
Ons sien met groot opgewondenheid uit na 2012 en het wonderlike idees vir die "nuwe" Safari Meats & SA Shop! (… enige voorstelle van julle kant af is welkom).
